Speaking of which, while Melting's ability is fantastic, he's still only got 6 HP max and is highly vulnerable to instant death. and his crib is indeed a big factor, though it doesn't guarantee a good melee weapon since there are so few of those in the game.īut I rated him a bit under Fish. The active is especially powerful thanks to its bullet-blocking ability, which even Melting's active can't continuously do on the Throne fights. Also a fair point that using Melty-face a lot would hone your dodging skills. Melting with the right mutes can be nigh unstoppable, with just one kill, if that, allowing you to chain-react kill everything around you. Slightly more serious, Rain does have a point. Right now it sure feels like Horror is my best bet. level 3 - (electrical room) - in this area there are 2 ways you can go through but its just 1 big square, activate all the glowing red switches while fighting the ghosts (just re-modeled fast zombies so you can kill them with ease if you grabbed the crowbar back in level 1.) and then go back to where you spawned and open the door and flick the. Is there some sort of consensus on the subject? Anything relevant that I may be overlooking? Rogue and Horror are excellent choices for this. As is the case with every character in the game (except for Frog), you should practice playing the game without any active or passive abilities active since every character (except for Frog) plays exactly the same as the next at base. There is no downside to the character.įish, Steroids and Crystal all look pretty solid too, but I'm not sure they can compare. Haste is a good crown to use with Horror. Its passive ability greatly decreases the odds of a run being ruined by poor mutation choices, its active ability can be used offensively, defensively, as utility (to charge portals with no enemies nearby) and even as a healing ability (with Throne Butt) which makes it both strong and versatile, and its Anomaly ultra is really good, often wiping out entire levels and filling you with HP and ammo in preparation for the next.
